Abdullahi Bala, the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwargwada Ward, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has died suddenly after collapsing on his way home from the farm.
The incident occurred around 5:23 p.m. on Wednesday, according to his brother, Ibrahim Bala, who said the late party official had spent the day working on the farm and showed no signs of illness.
“Abdullahi had just finished work and was walking back home with two of our brothers when he suddenly slumped. They held him and quickly called someone, who arrived with a motorcycle and rushed him to the hospital,” Ibrahim recounted.
Unfortunately, Abdullahi was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Reacting to the news, APC chairmanship aspirant in Kuje Area Council, Danladi Abdullahi Galadima, expressed deep shock over the unexpected loss.
Galadima, who visited the family at their Gwargwada residence on Saturday, described the late Abdullahi as a dedicated party member.
While offering his condolences, he urged the family to take solace in their faith. “Every soul shall taste death,” he said, praying for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest.
