In a show of solidarity and national mourning, Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Friday led a high-profile delegation to Daura to condole with former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, following the death of her husband, former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The former Nigerian leader passed away in London on Sunday, July 13, sending shockwaves across the nation and prompting tributes from leaders and citizens alike.

Accompanied by wives of state governors and other prominent figures, Senator Tinubu visited the Buhari residence in Daura, Katsina State, to express heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and honour the memory of the late president.
