In an interview with Former App Guber candidate for Governorship Election 2023 of Abia State Sir Mascot Uzor Kalu (KSJI). He said 100 days is not enough to determine how well a govt can perform. He also pleaded with Abians to be patient and see what the new government has in store. He also made it clear that though 100 days is not enough. that the current govt has not made a lot of steps in the right direction.
He said ”
But I i’ve not seen a lot of pronunciation as the directions of policies and business and things of that nature.The only thing i’ve seen publicly,that has been made so public, is the issue of security where we saw that the government gave out alot of vehicle, to cub the security issues in Abia. That’s the only major thing that I know that’s out there. On Economic Policies, infrastructural policies, I’ve not really heard of much. I know there are some roads that are being constructed, but on the policy level, I’ve not heard of anything much except on the security level. Let’s give them six months by the end of this year. A lot of things should have actually come out. When I mean six months, You have your plan… This is what we want to achieve, These are the goals we want to do And there’s another key thing which is key to building integrity and trust on the people, I will also want to advise the government on Publishing of financial accounts Very important It’s important for audience to know How much is coming in How much money is being used and this will help build trust and accountability.
