The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards kicked off Sept. 12 with some of the biggest names in music walking the red carpet at New Jersey’s Prudential Center gearing up for what was a night full of memorable performances and iconic acceptance speeches
Taylor took home the moon person trophies for Artist of the Year, Show of the Summer as well as Album of the Year for Midnights. Her hit “Anti-Hero” also received six awards, including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects and Best Cinematography.

He was in The category “Best Afrobeats Song” includes Wizkid’s “2 Sugar”, Burna Boy’s “It’s Plenty”, Fireboy and Asake’s “Bandana”, Davido’s “Unavailable”, Ayra Starr’s “Rush”, and Cameroonian singer Libianca’s “People.”
