Terror group Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) has exploded in anger over President Donald Trump’s threat to launch military action in Nigeria, calling him a “reckless American tyrant.”

Trump had earlier declared Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern and ordered the U.S. Department of War to prepare for possible strikes, citing alleged genocide against Christians.

Security expert Zagazola Makama revealed on his official X handle that ISWAP issued a fiery “propaganda message” across its secret channels, accusing Trump of being manipulated by “evangelical Christian and Jewish advisers.”

The group warned its members to ditch smartphones, avoid crowds, and restrict movement, saying the U.S. was using religion as cover for “crimes against African Muslims.”

In its rant, ISWAP urged Muslims across West Africa to “unite” against what it called America’s latest crusade.

The terror group claimed Trump’s move was part of a wider attempt by Washington to present itself as the “global defender of Christians.”
