The Spanish national team will meet Egypt in a high-profile international friendly set for March 2026 in Qatar, as part of preparations for their upcoming Finalissima clash with Argentina.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed that Spain will take on Egypt in an exhibition match scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar, next March. The fixture aims to provide Luis de la Fuente’s side with a strong test ahead of their participation in the 2026 Finalissima against Argentina later that year.

The showdown with Egypt one of Africa’s most competitive teams will offer Spain valuable experience against a physically strong and tactically disciplined opponent. Egypt, led by star forward Mohamed Salah, are also using the friendly to fine-tune their squad for the next round of World Cup qualifiers.

Both matches are expected to draw global attention, as Spain continues to shape its next generation of talent and Argentina defends its continental crown following their 2022 triumphs.
