The Chairman of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party, Muhammed Gambo, has declared his party’s readiness to take over Lugard House in the 2027 elections.

In a statement issued on Friday in Lokoja, the PDP chairman described the APC as “people living in a rented apartment” and predicted a landslide win for the PDP in a free and fair election.

“All Progressive Congress’s time is up. Kogi people should remain faithful to PDP, given the party’s strong structures and past record of prosperity in the state,” Gambo’s statement partly read.

Gambo appealed for peace, lawfulness, and collaboration on security, insisting, “Kogi is a PDP state.”
