The Management of Dangote Cement Plc has refuted reports making rounds that the company downwardly reviewed the price of its cement, describing it as false and malicious.
Recall that the report that circulated on social media had speculated that Dangote had slashed the price of cement from N5,000 to N2,410 per bag.
But in a response to the misleading report, the chief branding and communications officer of the Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina described the reports as mischievous, malicious, and false.
He added that the Management has formally notified the law enforcement agents to track down, name, and shame the perpetrators of this devious and deceptive information.
He urged Dangote’s Cement customers and other stakeholders to continue patronising the high-quality cement brand and be careful of scammers, who are bent on defrauding them of their funds.
Also, the Group managing director of Dangote Cement, Mr. Arvind Pathak, recently said Dangote Cement was focused on delivering quality cement at the best price possible, despite the current inflationary environment.
“We continue to innovate new ways to deliver quality products to millions of our customers across Africa while providing top-notch customer services. At Dangote Cement, we are committed to building an inclusive and sustainable business for all stakeholders across the value chain,” he said.
