Founder of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has emphasized that true change in Nigeria does not rest in the hands of the youth or societal elites, but in the hands of God’s people through prayer and decree.
Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Kumuyi urged Nigerians not to be discouraged by life’s challenges, assuring them that God is willing and able to manifest His power.
“We can change the situation in this country if we believe. We’re talking about anointing—anointing breaks the yoke. It’s not in the hands of the young people or the decadents; it’s in our hands to pray and decree. We will see God manifesting,” he said.
He further encouraged believers to utilize the spiritual keys given to them by Jesus Christ to command every anomaly in their lives and families, noting that doing so could curb the moral decadence plaguing society.
“God has given us the power through Jesus Christ. Whatever we bind on earth, heaven will conform. He who believes in me will do the works I do. The Lord has not disappointed us, and our expectations will be fulfilled,” Kumuyi added.
