Guests were left stunned in Abuja as Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh showered prayers and praises on her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, at their son King Andre’s 10th birthday party.
In a now-viral video from the celebration, Dikeh took the microphone and delivered powerful words of blessing over Churchill, declaring prosperity, protection and divine favour over his life and household.
“You are an amazing father, thank you so much,” she said.
“Your businesses will flourish; whoever curses you shall be cursed. I love you with the love of God.”
The emotional moment sent social media into a frenzy, especially given the pair’s highly publicised split in 2017, which dominated headlines for years.
Dikeh went further, praying not just for Churchill but for his entire family and children.
“I pray for your family. I pray for your business. I pray for all the children. They will progress. Failure will not meet them. Everything that they touch will be blessed,” she said.
“God will go before them and make every crooked path straight. Your business is replenished.”
The actress also acknowledged the strong bond between Churchill and their son, noting that Andre deeply loves and admires his father.
In recent months, Dikeh revealed that she and Churchill had reconciled and “buried the hatchet,” putting an end to years of public drama.
Meanwhile, Churchill is now married to Rosy Meurer, whom he formally introduced as his wife in 2021.
The couple share two children together.
