Miss Winnie Miller, the young woman who was recently brutalized after speaking out about the poor condition of a public school in Ahoada West LGA, Rivers State, has been appointed as an ambassador of luxury Portland Resorts Hotel in Port Harcourt
In addition to the ambassadorial role, Portland Resorts has also offered Winnie a new job with a salary higher than her previous employment.
The management further announced that Winnie has been granted automatic scholarships to pursue her Master’s degree and PhD in the future, if she chooses to continue her academic journey.
According to the CEO Azubuike Ihemeje, the gesture is meant to encourage young people to be courageous and speak the truth about issues affecting their communities.
Portland Resorts also stated that it plans to deliberately expose Winnie Miller to the world as a shining example for Nigerian youths, urging citizens to always speak up whenever they see something wrong in society.
