It was a moment of prestige, power and prayer in Mbaise, Imo State, as Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, received a ‘special’ Episcopal blessing in a grand ceremony that attracted top dignitaries and church leaders.

The blessing was bestowed by Simon Okezuo Iweobi at the revered Maria Mater Ecclesia Cathedral, during a colourful thanksgiving marking the end of Belusochukwu Enwere’s five-year tenure as National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

The event turned into a major gathering of influence, bringing together politicians, clergy, youth leaders and community stakeholders in a powerful display of faith and unity.

During the service, Bishop Iweobi offered prayers for Seyi Tinubu, describing the Episcopal blessing as a symbol of divine guidance, protection and wisdom for leadership and service.

His presence as a special guest sparked excitement and admiration among attendees.

The atmosphere was filled with hymns, prayers and glowing tributes as speakers celebrated Enwere’s leadership from 2021 to 2026, praising his efforts in uniting Christian youths and strengthening their role in national development.

Clergy at the event stressed the critical role of faith-based youth organisations in instilling discipline, moral values and peaceful coexistence across the country.
