An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck a building in the western Galilee on Friday, causing damage but no reported injuries, according to local authorities.
Emergency services and security forces were dispatched to the scene following reports of an explosion and structural impact on the building. Officials confirmed that while the strike caused material damage, there were no casualties among residents or passersby, and no one required medical treatment.
The area around the impact site was cordoned off as security personnel inspected the scene and checked for any remaining explosive materials or secondary devices. Residents in the wider western Galilee region were urged to remain alert and follow instructions from the authorities amid heightened tensions and repeated alerts over suspected UAV activity in recent days.
