Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior has opened up about his past working relationship with former coach Xabi Alonso, revealing that the two may not have shared the strongest connection during their time together.
When asked recently why he didn’t post any social media farewell for Alonso, the Brazilian forward responded candidly, saying, “Every coach has their own things and maybe we did not connect well.”
Vini Jr. explained that period as a challenging chapter in his growth, admitting he struggled with limited playing time. “It was a difficult moment because I was playing for few minutes,” he said. “I learned a lot, I reflected and I am improved now.”
