President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has showered encomium on President Bola Tinubu, applauding his leadership and describing him as the driving force behind Nigeria’s developmental foundation.
Speaking at a public event, Akpabio highlighted the remarkable transformation of Lagos State, noting that its progress is the result of consistent leadership spanning several administrations, including that of the late Lateef Jakande.
He said, “So I can confirm now, Mr. Governor, successive administrations after Asiwaju and after our late sage, Lateef Jakande, of blessed memory, you are changing Lagos.”
The Senate President also offered prayers for the state’s continued progress and wellbeing of its people.
“May God Almighty continue to keep you alive and keep the good people of Lagos alive.”
Turning to national leadership, Akpabio commended Tinubu’s role in shaping Nigeria’s future, describing him as a “super brain” whose governance philosophy has scaled beyond Lagos to the entire country.
He stated, “I thank you for donating a super brain to Nigeria to be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is laying the right foundation, not just for the growth of Lagos alone, but now for the growth of Nigeria.”
Expressing confidence in the nation’s trajectory, he added, “And inshallah, by the grace of God, Nigeria shall move forward.”
