Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has sent a strong message to opposition parties, insisting that President Bola Tinubu remains far ahead in Nigeria’s political chess game ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Keyamo made the remarks in a post on his verified X handle on Sunday, where he praised Tinubu’s long history in opposition politics and his strategic rise to the presidency.
“The very unique thing about President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that he fought from the deep end of opposition to become President of Nigeria,” he wrote.
He argued that Tinubu’s political experience has shaped the strategies now being adopted by rival parties.
“Every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is from the playbook of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he added.
In a more pointed remark, Keyamo insisted that the President remains unmatched in political strategy.
“You cannot beat the master at his own game; you cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics; he is 100 steps ahead of all of them,” he wrote.
