The Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the judgment in the high-profile suit filed by Leke Abejide against the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, Mark, Aregbesola, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Presiding over the matter, Hon. Justice Liman announced the adjournment after the final written addresses were submitted by both the plaintiff and the defendants. The case, with Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/1637/2025, has drawn significant attention due to its implications for internal party leadership and the conduct of electoral processes within the ADC.

Abejide, who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives, had approached the court seeking relief over alleged irregularities and disputes involving the party’s leadership and its relations with the electoral body. The judgment expected tomorrow will determine the next course of action for both parties and could influence future political alignments ahead of upcoming elections.
