The All Progressives Congress has rolled out its full timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the high-stakes 2027 general elections, with jaw-dropping fees for aspirants across all levels.
In a statement released Monday night and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the ruling party confirmed that presidential hopefuls will need a staggering N100 million to secure both nomination and expression of interest forms.
A breakdown shows N30 million for the expression of interest form and N70 million for the nomination form for the presidency.
Governorship aspirants are also facing a hefty bill, with N10 million set for the expression of interest form and N40 million for the nomination form.
For those eyeing seats in the National Assembly, Senate hopefuls will pay N3 million for the expression of interest form and N17 million for the nomination form, while House of Representatives aspirants are to part with N1 million and N9 million, respectively.
At the state level, aspirants for the House of Assembly will pay N1 million for the expression of interest form and N5 million for the nomination form.
In a concession move, the party announced that female aspirants, youths, and persons with disabilities will only be required to pay the full expression of interest fee and 50 percent of the nomination fee.
