Abia 2027 governorship aspirant, Mascot Uzor Kalu, has declared that his ambition to lead the state is driven purely by his passion for service and commitment to the welfare of the people of Abia State.

Speaking during an engagement with supporters and stakeholders, the APC chieftain said his political aspiration is not about personal gain, power, or prestige, but about providing purposeful leadership that will positively impact the lives of ordinary citizens across the state.

“I have no other mission than to serve Ndi Abia,” he stated.

According to him, leadership should be seen as a responsibility to uplift the people and not an avenue for personal enrichment. He stressed that his long-standing relationship with youths, women, entrepreneurs, and vulnerable groups across Abia has further strengthened his resolve to pursue people-oriented governance.

The governorship hopeful noted that Abia possesses enormous human and economic potential capable of transforming the state into a major hub of development if managed with sincerity, vision, and strategic planning.

He emphasized the need for inclusive governance, accountability, and practical policies that directly address the daily challenges facing the people, especially in areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic growth.

Mascot Uzor Kalu further stated that his vision is to build a government that listens to the people and ensures that no community feels abandoned or excluded from the dividends of governance.

He added that every part of the state, from Aba to Ohafia and Umuahia to Ukwa, deserves equal attention and meaningful development.

The APC aspirant also reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots engagement, saying continuous interaction with the people remains essential in understanding their needs and aspirations.

He urged Abians to remain hopeful and united, insisting that genuine transformation can only happen when leaders place the interests of the people above personal ambition.
