The identity of the third-year student from Abia State Polytechnic, who tragically drowned at Umuahia River, has been disclosed as Chidera Kenneth.
Sources told MUK TV that Kenneth, the only son of his parents and a native of Uzuakoli, met his untimely demise at the well-known Umuchime River (Iyi Umuchime) of Ossah Ibeku while swimming.
Accompanied by a friend, he went to swim, and the unfortunate incident of his drowning went unnoticed until it was too late to intervene.
