The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is gaining momentum in Imo State as its 2027 senatorial candidate for Owerri Zone, Engr. Uchenna Daniel Ofoegbu, embarked on an appreciation tour across key local government areas in the zone.
Ofoegbu began the tour at Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, where he was warmly received by party leaders, members, and supporters at Nnaramba, Ahiara in Mbaise.
Party stakeholders, including local government chairmen and aspirants, described his visit as a strong show of unity and confidence in the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing optimism about the party’s chances in the zone.
During the engagements, ADC leaders across Ahiazu and Ezinihitte LGAs pledged massive support for Ofoegbu and other party candidates, describing them as credible and capable of delivering good governance.
In his remarks, Ofoegbu thanked party faithful for their support during the senatorial primary, stating that his visit was purely to appreciate them and strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the elections.
He urged supporters to remain committed to the ADC, adding that the party’s growing structure in Owerri Zone reflects increasing public trust in its vision for development and representation.
The tour also extended to Ngor Okpala and Aboh Mbaise LGAs, where party stakeholders reaffirmed their support, promising strong voter turnout in the 2027 elections.
ADC leaders say the appreciation tour has further strengthened internal cohesion and boosted confidence within the party as it positions itself for a competitive outing in Imo State.
