The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has assured residents that the Command will thoroughly investigate the death of a 23-year-old nursing student found dead in her residence in Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area.
The assurance came during a meeting with a delegation from the Alor community, led by the President General, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, who pledged the community’s full cooperation in helping the Police identify and prosecute those responsible.
CP Orutugu said all available investigative resources have been deployed to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident and urged members of the public to avoid spreading unverified information that could hinder investigations.
The Police also appealed to residents with credible information to come forward, assuring the bereaved family and the public that no effort would be spared in ensuring justice is served.
The Command reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property and promised to provide updates as the investigation progresses.
