Burial arrangements have been announced for the late legal practitioner, Barrister Victor O’Brien Nkwo, who passed away on April 23, 2026.
The funeral rites will commence on Friday, July 24, with a special valedictory court session at the Abia State High Court, Umuahia Judicial Headquarters, in honour of the deceased lawyer.
According to the burial programme, his remains will leave the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia Mortuary on Saturday, July 25, for his family compound at Akealu Lodu Imenyi in Bende Local Government Area, where he will lie in state from 8:00 a.m.
A funeral service will later be held at the Community Primary School Field, Lodu Imenyi, after which he will be laid to rest.
The late Barrister Victor O’Brien Nkwo is remembered for his contributions to the legal profession and is survived by his family, friends and numerous well-wishers.
