A letter attributed to Mojtaba Khamenei has called on the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah to remain steadfast on what it described as the “path of resistance,” invoking religious language that supporters often use to justify continued armed struggle.
According to the reported text of the letter, Mojtaba Khamenei wrote:
“Steadfastness on this path of resistance will bring the promised divine victory to the mujahideen who are on the path of truth. And helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us.”
The message has been interpreted by some observers as an encouragement for Hezbollah to continue its military campaign against its adversaries. However, the letter does not explicitly call for specific attacks.
