A team believed to be members of the State Transportation Task Force allegedly knocked down a road user this morning along Ikot Ekpene Road in Uyo while reportedly chasing another individual with their vehicle
According to reports, the victim sustained a broken leg, and the vehicle allegedly fled the scene without stopping.
Bystanders who witnessed the incident attended to the victim and initially wanted to take him to the transportation office along Ikot Ekpene Road. However, a content creator and a reporter by name Oga Yenne advised to rush him to the nearest hospital for immediate first aid and medical attention instead of taking him to the office to report the incident.
