The All Progressives Congress (APC) former Special Advisers Forum expressed a 99.9% confidence in their prospects of a favorable outcome in the imminent Supreme Court judgment regarding the Kano Governorship dispute.
Dr. Abbati Bako, the Chairman of the forum, shared this optimism while addressing journalists in Kano on Sunday. He extended congratulations to the party’s governorship candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, and his running mate, Murtala Sule Garo, for their triumphs at both the Election Petition Tribunal and the Appeal Court, expressing firm conviction in a favorable ruling at the apex court.
Bako stated, “I want to use this opportunity to congratulate our duly elected Governor Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and his Deputy, Murtala Sule Garo during the last election as pronounced by the Election Tribunal as well as the Court of Appeal, we pray and hope that the Supreme Court judgment will also be in our favour, Inshallah. We are 99.9 per cent positive and hopeful of that.”
Highlighting the high hopes and positive expectations of the people of Kano in the potential administration of Gawuna and Garo, he anticipated a promising tenure marked by significant developmental strides in the state.
