Nigerian referee, Kasimu Abdulsalam has been selected to officiate at the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Abdulsalam is one of 81 officials selected to officiate at the competition which will take place in Qatar.
The young arbiter is one of four centre referees selected from Africa by FIFA for the annual tournament.
Eight assistant referees were also picked from the continent.
Abdulsalam, #Muktv recalls, officiated at the 2023 and 2026 editions of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
Qatar will host the competition from November 19 to December 13.
