MultiChoice has discontinued its famous Africa Magic Family channel after 12 years, replacing it with a new entertainment channel, Africa Magic+, as part of changes to its DStv offerings.
The development was announced on Thursday through Africa Magic’s official Instagram page, which described the closure as the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
In the announcement, the channel bade farewell to its viewers with the message, “Goodbye, Africa Magic Family”, adding that the closure would usher in a new offering.
“One chapter closes, but the story is far from over.
“Africa Magic Family is officially closed, there’s so much more coming your way,” the post read.
