Amidst a storm of criticism, Daniel Bwala, a prominent figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former spokesman for the Atiku Presidential Campaign Council, has boldly declared his willingness to accept an appointment from President Bola Tinubu’s government.

Bwala, who recently faced backlash for his visit to President Tinubu in Aso Rock, remains steadfast in his stance, stating that he would appreciate any position offered by the president if it aligns with contributing to the development of Tinubu’s agenda.

In a candid statement on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Bwala reiterated his commitment to supporting the president’s agenda, irrespective of whether he receives an official appointment.

He drew a distinction between those “clinging and crying for appointment” and individuals like him, who believe their value transcends official titles.

Addressing concerns about potential betrayal of Atiku, the presidential candidate of the PDP in the 2023 election, Bwala firmly said, “I informed Atiku Abubakar I was going to see the President,” reinforcing that his visit was transparently communicated to Atiku.

In the face of speculations and pre-emptive actions, Bwala clarifies that President Tinubu has not promised him anything, dispelling notions of backdoor deals.

An anonymous Source within the presidency, however, informed MUK TV that Bwala is lobbying to replace Simon Lalong, the former Minister of Labour and Employment who exited from Tinubu’s cabinet to become a Senator.

His unapologetic stance and loyalty to his principles shine through, challenging the narrative surrounding his controversial visit and positioning himself as a man of value and conviction.
