Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial district, has declared a commitment to a single term if elected in the upcoming Anambra governorship poll.
Recently joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ubah expressed intentions to challenge incumbent governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Speaking in Nnewi, Ubah stated the importance of adhering to the existing zoning agreement, pledging to complete the turn of the Anambra South senatorial district, as reported by Vanguard.
He criticized the current administration, stating disappointment in the slow pace of economic growth under Governor Soludo.
Ubah said he will prioritize economic development, promising swift reforms and local government elections within four months if elected.
He maintained that a focused governor can achieve significant progress in four years, contrasting it with his perception of the present administration’s failure to meet expectations and improve livelihoods.
