The Presidency has attributed the Super Eagles’ qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations finals to the inspirational presence of Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire.

Nigeria’s journey to the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations was sealed with a thrilling victory over South Africa in the semi-final, with the match culminating in a penalty shootout after extra time.

Throughout the tournament, the Super Eagles have showcased exceptional talent, determination, and resilience, capturing the hearts of fans across the nation.

In a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President, it was highlighted that Vice President Shettima’s steadfast support played a pivotal role in motivating the team.
