Youths obey the clarion call….The composer of the Nysc Anthem , musicologist, Assistant Venerable Oluwole Adetiran has passed on at 75, a life truly well spent,one that won’t be forgotten in our country Nigeria. The president also sent his condolences through his spokesperson Femi Adesina urging the family friends and well wishers to take solace.
Speaking of forever gone, Popular Nollywood actor James Olanrewaju Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha has been sentenced to 16 years in prison by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the ikeja domestic violence and sexual offences court, for sexually assaulting a minor and would be gone for 16 years….Ladies and gentlemen,a 14 year old girl, who was in the care of the comedienne Princess was allegedly assaulted by Baba ijesha and he was arrested,detained in April 2021. Baba ijesha pleaded not guilty initially well, there were cctv evidences and he was found guilty of two of the six counts against him.
Alot of people on Twitter reacted and said it was a deserved sentencing and they wouldn’t ask for more!!! The one time justice has prevailed someone tweeted!!!
Well we pray for the family and friends of the victim and also the predator.
