The youth chairmen of all the thirteen communities of Igbere paid a courtesy visit to the Abia state governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP), Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu (Aka Epuchi Onwa I of Bende) at his country home, Igbere.
The youth leaders, in one accord, expressed their joy at the candidacy of Chief Kalu, while unequivocally stating that Igbere youths cannot trade the governorship position for that of deputy, because it is what rightfully belongs to the people of Abia North senatorial district.
On his part, Chief Kalu, who was happy about such a visit, promised not to disappoint them, as he is in the race with all his heart.
“I am happy about your visit. The promise I make to you all is that I am in the race with all my heart and I would want you all to do the same.
“What I am fighting for is what rightfully belongs to us as the people of Abia North, and not a lesser position. So, I am happy you people said that earlier, “he concluded.
