Pastor Noah Abraham, founder of Christ High Commission Church in Araromi-Ugbesia, Omuo-Oke-Ekiti, was apprehended by the Ekiti State Police Command alongside the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for suspected kidnapping of minors and other individuals.

The arrest followed a protest by church members at the police command regarding the alleged kidnapping of minors and the pastor impregnating the wife of his choir coordinator.

Earlier, Pastor Abraham was arrested for allegedly collecting N310,000 from church members last year, promising to secure them a “visa to heaven.”

Reports revealed that he held children hostage, using manipulation tactics to turn them against their parents.

During their testimony at the command’s headquarters, the members, including the pastor’s wife, appealed for government and other authorities’ intervention to rescue their children, wife, and relatives from the pastor’s control.

One of the protesters stated, “The pastor forced some of our children to withdraw from school, and a 27-year-old man, previously employed with an official car, was made to resign and confined without any clear purpose,” Daily Trusts reported

The choir coordinator, Mr. Dare Ikuenayo, verified that the pastor took his wife, who already had three children for him, and impregnated her.

In a chat with newsmen, Pastor Abraham mentioned that the ‘visa to heaven’ ordeal was his initial task and claimed he had completed what he was divinely instructed to do and was ready to return to his maker.

DSP Sunday Abutu, the command’s spokesman, confirmed that investigations were ongoing.
