A marketer of Globus Bank, identified as Amarachu Ugochukwu, in a heartbreaking circumstance, has tragically taken her own life on Wednesday within the confines of her workplace in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
This devastating event was confirmed by the state police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, to SaharaReporters on Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that Amarachu locked herself in the bank’s restroom, where she ingested a popular lethal pesticide, sniper.
The news of Amarachu’s untimely demise spread through social media, accompanied by a handwritten note allegedly composed by the deceased.
The suicide note sheds light on the extreme hardship she faced in life, serving as a poignant explanation for her tragic decision.
The heartfelt words in the note reveal her struggles with the harsh realities of life: “NOTING IS WORKING IN MY LIFE. MY FIGURES ARE COLD. MY BRAIN IS CLOGGED UP. THE ECONOMY IS GETTING HARDER. MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG. MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG. MY MIND IS MESSED UP.”
Expressing her despair about the future, the note continues, “THE FUTURE DOESN’T SEEM BRIGHT AT ALL, I SEE EXTREME HARDSHIP. I CAN’T BEAR THE PAIN ANYMORE.”
In a final, sorrowful farewell, she apologizes to her family, saying, “I’M SORRY MUM, I’M SORRY DAD, I’M SORRY MEME, OKWE, NAZOR, CHUCHU, IFUNANYA.”
