During a candid conversation with fellow reality star Tacha, Big Brother Naija Venita Akpofure shared valuable advice for single ladies, urging them to refrain from marrying too early.

Venita stressed the significance of embracing one’s youth and gaining diverse life experiences before venturing into marriage. Specifically, she cautioned against tying the knot before the age of 28.

The divorced mother of two expressed, “Don’t marry young o! Don’t go and do ‘I’m doing high school sweetheart. We die here.’ Just be young! Enjoy your life. When you’re tired, get married.”

She further clarified her stance, particularly regarding her daughter, stating, “If my daughter approaches me, as long as she’s not, I swear to God, not up to 28, we can rock with it. Anything below 28, please no.”

Venita highlighted that although there are mature individuals, trying different things in life and experiencing diverse situations is essential before making a lifelong commitment. She likened marriage to handcuffs, emphasizing the importance of being sure about settling down.

Drawing from her own experiences, Venita shed light on the challenges of long-term commitment. She suggested that couples consider having separate yet connected rooms to maintain independence and prevent potential conflicts.

In summary, the reality star underscored the significance of self-discovery before entering marriage, acknowledging that while some may mature early, exploring different aspects of life is crucial for making well-informed decisions about marriage.
