The third edition of the National Para Games came to an end on Friday the 3rd of April, 2026 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium with Team Enugu State crown Champions

The Coal City State amassed a total of 55 medals, 40 gold 8 silver and 7 bronze medals

Bayelsa State finished 2nd with 25 gold, 30 silver and 14 bronze, a total of 69 medals

In third position is Team Edo State who went home with 25 gold, 14 silver and 12 bronze, a total of 51 medals.

The Treasure Base of the Nation, Rivers State finish 4th with a total of 59 medals, 21 gold 21 silver and 17 bronze medals.

However, Lagos State completed the top 5 position with 20 gold, 23 silver and 20 bronze medals

The closing ceremony of the Para games with fill with Celebration from all athletes from the 32 States including the FCT, much to the delight of top government officials which include the First Lady Oluremi Tinubu who was represented by the Wife of the Vice President, Nana Kashim Shetima.

On her Speech, the First Lady Congratulated all the Athletes for their Conduct, determination and focus emphasising the Administration of President Bola Tinubu commitment in Supporting all the Para Athletes.

She also reassured the Athletes that the President will continue to create Avenue like this for them to showcase their God given talent.

On his part, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, thanked all the para athletes and promise to continue in supporting them,he outline the Commission’s commitment in developing the para athletes.

The National Sports Commission Chairman also thanked the President for prioritize Sports in his administration.
