The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Chibuzor Chinyere, has provoked reactions online after publicly announcing that he is seeking a husband for his 21-year-old adopted daughter living with autism.
In a Facebook post that quickly went viral, the cleric introduced the young woman, identified as Chiemeka Chibuzor, and outlined the conditions and benefits attached to the proposed marriage.
According to him, the prospective husband must be physically and mentally fit, with the assurance of long-term financial backing and welfare support.
“I am giving out another of my adopted daughters in marriage. Her name is Chiemeka Chibuzor. She is 21 years old and lives with autism, although she can speak and hear well,” he wrote.
“The man who wishes to marry her must be a young individual who is physically and mentally fit in all respects. The arrangement comes with several benefits, including lifetime financial support, a free house for life, and a home built in the names of both partners.
“There will also be regular, unplanned supervision visits by OPM staff to ensure her safety and well-being, alongside other additional benefits.
“This arrangement is aimed at ensuring that she is properly cared for, protected, and able to live a happy and fulfilling life.”
The unusual offer includes a lifetime financial package, a fully provided home, and continued oversight by church officials to ensure the lady’s safety and well-being.
This development comes just weeks after the cleric facilitated a similar arrangement for his adopted son, Aboy, who married a single mother of three.
That union reportedly came with a N10 million gift, a house, an overseas vacation, and a promised N20 million after 10 years, provided certain conditions are met.
