Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has unveiled a sweeping plan to invest $110 billion over the next decade to establish a fully independent domestic arms industry, signaling a strategic shift toward defense self-reliance.
Netanyahu said the initiative, approved at 350 billion shekels, aims to reduce Israel’s dependence on foreign partners even close allies while strengthening its military edge in future conflicts.
