The Federal Road Safety Corps, Kano Sector Command, has confirmed the death of four persons and 53 others injured in separate road crashes in Kano.
The Public Relations Officer of the Sector Command, Abdullahi Labaran, confirmed the figures in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, the first incident occurred on Friday, April 17, 2026, around 10:20pm along the Eastern Bypass, at General Muhammadu Buhari Interchange, Hotoro, Kano.
“The crash involved a DAF trailer with registration number MAF 284XA, loaded with animals, goods, and passengers. The vehicle was reportedly en route from Wudil Market, Kano State, heading to Asaba in Delta State when the unfortunate incident occurred.
