The Abia State 2027 governorship hopeful and political figure, Mascot Uzor Kalu, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) in Abia State to prioritise sincerity, transparency, and honest engagement as essential pillars for building a stronger and more united party ahead of 2027 elections.

Speaking to newsmen, Kalu stressed that internal trust and unity within the party can only be sustained when members embrace straightforward communication and genuine intentions in their political dealings.

The former Abia Chief of Staff noted that the strength of any political organisation is not merely in its numerical strength, but in the integrity of its leadership and the transparency of its internal processes.

According to him, when party members operate with honesty, it builds confidence among stakeholders and improves the party’s electoral prospects.

Kalu further explained that openness in leadership helps reduce suspicion, internal rivalry, and avoidable conflicts that often weaken political structures.

He maintained that when ambitions and decisions are clearly communicated, it encourages healthy engagement and mutual respect among aspirants and supporters.

Reaffirming his commitment to party unity, the governorship hopeful called on APC faithful in Abia State to remain focused on fairness, inclusiveness, and collective progress.

He expressed confidence that a united party, rooted in sincerity, would be better positioned to deliver meaningful development to the people.

He also emphasised that honesty should not be seen as a weakness in politics, but rather as a defining strength that separates credible leadership from opportunistic behaviour.

Kalu ended by urging leaders at all levels within the party to lead by example, noting that the future strength and stability of the APC in Abia State depend largely on the character and conduct of its key stakeholders.
