Turkish giants Fenerbahçe have announced the dismissal of Technical Director Domenico Tedesco and his entire technical staff following a board of directors meeting.
In a statement released Monday, the club confirmed it has also parted ways with Sports Director Devin Özek and Football Coordinator Berke Çelebi.
“We have parted ways with our Technical Director Domenico Tedesco and his technical staff,” the club said. “It has also been decided to part ways with our Sports Director Devin Özek and our Football Coordinator Berke Çelebi.”
Fenerbahçe thanked the departing officials for their contributions and wished them success in their future careers.
The club announced that Assistant Coach Zeki Murat Göle will take interim charge of the team for the remaining matches of the season.
The sweeping changes come amid what appears to be mounting pressure on the technical and administrative structure at one of Turkey’s most successful football clubs.
