FIFA has announced that global superstars BTS, Shakira and Madonna will share the stage at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final half-time show in 2026, curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, to be staged at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19, will feature a Super Bowl-style spectacle as football’s biggest game introduces a dedicated half-time show for the first time in the tournament’s history. BTS, Shakira and Madonna have been confirmed as co-headliners, bringing K‑pop, Latin and pop icons together in a star-studded performance designed to reflect the truly global audience of the World Cup.

The show will be curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who has been tasked with shaping the creative direction and overall flow of the 11‑minute performance, mirroring the high-impact format of the NFL’s Super Bowl halftime shows. Produced in partnership with Global Citizen, the event will also support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, using the platform of the World Cup final to raise money for projects that expand access to quality education and football for children around the world.
