Oke Umurhohwo has emerged as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly election to represent Ughelli North Constituency II in the 2027 general elections.
Umurhohwo secured the party’s ticket during the PDP primaries held on Saturday as the party commenced its screening and selection process across Delta State. The marketing executive and party chieftain clinched the nomination to fly the PDP flag for the state assembly seat.
Umurhohwo, who currently serves as Marketing Director at StarTimes Nigeria, had declared his intent to represent the constituency in April 2026, positioning himself as a candidate bringing fresh ideas and professionalism to the legislative process. His victory positions him as the official PDP candidate ahead of the 2027 state assembly elections in Delta State.
The primaries mark a significant step in Delta State’s electoral preparations as political parties finalize their candidates for various positions in next year’s general elections.
