President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, on his 85th birthday.
Tinubu described Kumuyi as a remarkable servant of God whose unwavering faith and dedication have shaped one of Nigeria’s most influential Christian ministries for over five decades.
In a statement signed and released on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Kumuyi’s impact on believers across Nigeria and the world, noting that his voice, writings and ministry had reached far beyond the church.
“As the convener of Global Crusade with Kumuyi, your voice has reached beyond the church walls and national borders, bringing hope and encouragement to millions across the world.
“Your writings have illuminated minds, inspired hearts, and provided timeless guidance to those seeking truth and purpose,” Tinubu said.
He also noted that Kumuyi’s ministry had produced generational impact in families and leadership.
The President stated, “Your ministry and influence have transformed lives, restored families, inspired leaders, and strengthened the faith of generations of believers.”
