More than 50 editors and journalists from across Nigeria have commenced a five-day media tour of key federal government projects in the South-East under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The tour, organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in collaboration with the Presidential Media Team, began in Ebonyi State and will cover Enugu, Anambra, Abia, and Imo states, where it will conclude on June 17.

According to a statement by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Tunde Rahman, the exercise is aimed at providing firsthand assessment of ongoing and completed federal projects in the region.

Activities lined up for the tour include project inspections, stakeholder engagements, media interactions, and discussions on national development.

Organisers say the initiative is designed to promote factual reporting, strengthen government-media relations, and give Nigerians a clearer picture of the impact of the Tinubu administration’s policies and infrastructure programmes.

The South-East edition follows a similar tour of the North-West, where journalists inspected major federal projects, including railway, highway, irrigation, and ecological intervention schemes.
