The First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has partnered with Fidelity Bank to launch three major social intervention programmes aimed at improving the lives of residents across the state.
The initiatives, unveiled at the Lighthouse in Awka, include Lighting Young Minds, Give Her Power (Watch Her Grow), and the Fidelity Food Bank Initiative, all designed to promote education, women’s empowerment, and social welfare.

The collaboration between Fidelity Bank and the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo initiative directly impacted 1,950 beneficiaries across Anambra State, providing opportunities and support to vulnerable groups, students, women, and families.
Speaking during the event, Dr. Nonye Soludo emphasized the importance of investing in people as a pathway to sustainable development, stating that “if you invest in people, you invest in the future.”
She described the partnership as a practical demonstration of how government and private sector collaboration can drive meaningful social change, improve livelihoods, and create opportunities for a brighter future for Ndi Anambra.

The programme has been widely applauded as another significant step toward human capital development and community empowerment in the state.
Congratulating the beneficiaries, the First Lady expressed hope that the intervention would serve as a turning point in their lives and inspire greater productivity and self-reliance.
