Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has openly declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, urging progressive political leaders across the country to unite for national development.
Speaking at a high-profile endorsement rally in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, on Monday, Soludo described his attendance as a solidarity visit to Governor Francis Nwifuru and a demonstration of growing cooperation among progressive political forces.
The Anambra governor emphasized the need for stronger partnerships across party lines, expressing confidence in ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to address the nation’s economic and social challenges.
In a message directed to the Igbo people, Soludo called for a shift from what he described as “politics of lamentation” to a more pragmatic approach focused on collaboration, development, and prosperity for the Southeast.
He also hinted that the All Progressives Grand Alliance would soon take a formal position aimed at strengthening a broader progressive alliance in the country.
The rally concluded with renewed endorsements for President Tinubu and calls for greater political cooperation among leaders committed to Nigeria’s growth and stability.
