The Abia State Homeland Security Agency has announced the dismissal of a senior official, Ireokwu Tochi, who previously served as Deputy Director of Logistics in the Abia State Homeland Security Watch.
According to the Agency, the decision followed the recommendations of a six-member Disciplinary Investigation Panel which found the officer culpable of multiple violations, including gross misconduct, vandalism, unlawful removal of property, impersonation, unauthorized operational activities, abscondment from duty, and abuse of office.

The Agency stated that the dismissal takes immediate effect and warned that the former officer is no longer authorized to represent or conduct any business on behalf of the organization.

It further advised members of the public, stakeholders, and institutions to avoid any official dealings with the dismissed officer, stressing that the Agency would not be held responsible for any actions carried out in its name.

The management reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining professionalism, discipline, integrity, and accountability in all security operations across the state.
