The Mayor of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving basic education following a visit by the Chairman of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), Dr. Justina Anyadiegwu.
Dr. Anyadiegwu visited the Nnewi North Council Secretariat as part of ASUBEB’s statewide familiarization and assessment tour aimed at strengthening collaboration with local governments under Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s education reform agenda.
During the visit, the ASUBEB Chairman said the tour is focused on evaluating the state of basic education across Anambra and fostering stronger partnerships to improve learning outcomes.
Responding, Hon. Anazodo pledged full support for the state government’s education initiatives, assuring that his administration would address challenges facing public primary schools in Nnewi North and work closely with ASUBEB to enhance the quality of education in the area.
He expressed confidence that the partnership would help position Nnewi North as a model for excellence in basic education across the state.
